ATV Accident Results In DWI Arrest

QUEENSBURY—A Queensbury man was charged with driving while intoxicated after the ATV he was operating ran off Butler Pond Road Saturday evening and struck an earth embankment.

Police said Brian K. Mayott, 47, had a blood alcohol content of .22%, nearly three times the legal threshold of .08%.

The Warren County Sheriff’s Office a report of an ATV accident on Butler Pond Road about 6:51 p.m. Mayott was found to have been operating his 2006 Suzuki ATV on the roadway.

He was charged with aggravated DWI and is due to appear in the Queensbury Town Court on Oct. 25.

The incident was investigated by Patrol Officer J.M. Wittenberg.
